Think U have dandruff?  U may not!  My stylist just told me that I have shampoo and conditioner build-up and not dandruff.  She said that if you can scrape white stuff off your scalp with your nails - it's NOT dandruff.  I thought I had caught it at a haircut place where they just throw their combs and brushes in a drawer WITHOUT sanitising them!!!  I've found several references on the Internet that dandruff is caused by a scalp specific fungus, Malassezia globosa.  I tried MANY dandruff shampoos and NEVER could get rid of it!  So, I was soooo glad when my stylist told me the truth!  She told me to get a scalp exfoliater from Walgreen's - in the brush isle and U can get 2 for a $1.  So now I've tried it and it's working.   Or at least it has been for the few days since I got it cut.  So, I'm spreading the NEWS!  Maybe I'll be able to wear black again soon - how cool will that be????
